Had my draft for a 16-team H2H league over the weekend. We ice four of each forward position, six defensemen, two goalies and a utility player. Needless to say, the draft goes pretty deep.

Skaters: G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SOG, Hits, Blocks
Goalies: W, GAA, SV%, SO

Patrick Marleau - Jonathan Toews - Valeri Nichushkin
Matt Nieto - Derek Stepan - Charlie Coyle
Beau Bennett - Frans Nielsen - Troy Brouwer
Jamie McGinn - Carl Soderberg - Alex Chiasson

Oliver Ekman-Larsson - Ryan McDonagh
Alexander Edler - John Carlson
Andy Greene - Tyler Myers

Jonathan Quick
Jimmy Howard

Utility: Zack Kassian
Bench: Colin Wilson, Jori Lehtera, Dennis Seidenberg, Chad Johnson

Stepans going to be njured for around a dozen games to start the year.

Yeah that's true. Not a huge deal though, it's a long season so I plan to hold onto him anyway. The free agent pool is insanely weak in this league due to how many picks were made in the draft, so it's not worth dropping him. I have Lehtera and Wilson as stop-gaps while Stepan is out.

I kind of wish I didn't gamble on so many young players (especially at forward with Coyle, Nieto, Bennett, Kassian, Nichushkin and Chaisson) because none of those guys are really established top-six forwards. It could backfire on me.

I do feel really good about my defense and goaltending though.
