You hit the nail on the head Nomore the media isn't covering the Predators or the Admirals (and Americans thought we were funny for having two football teams with the same name). It seems to me your media hops on the bandwagon at the last minute when things are going right. Edmonton has two newspapers lavishing praise and scorn on the Oilers, and the RoadRunners. The local and national coverage is a given for all 6 Canadian teams. They're covered before,during and after the game. The fans let their own players get an earfull if they aren't playing to potential,and ultimately it's the fans that seem to make a difference. Boo your own player long enough and he's traded. I don't think this country wants to witness even one more team go through a Nordiques/Jets scenario. With CBC,ESPN,TSN et.al. it's a smorgasborg of hockey coverage. I've noticed down there you guys seem happy to be mentioned on the local radio. Too bad. Indeed time will tell.
