The kid is lighting it up with Medicine Hat so far in the WHL and is also 6'3 and 200+lbs.

He had 2 goals and 1 assist tonight in WHL play and for the season is sitting at 14 goals 24 assists 38pts 71pims in 43 games.

Is this guy a shoe in for the Canadian WJT next year in North Dakota or will he playing U18 tourney's in April and August?

Cam Barker is a very good player. He plays a similar style to Rob Blake I would say. He has great offensive skills and is pretty solid defensively too. He has an amazing shot. It's hard and low. If he's not playing in the NHL( I don't think he should) he will be lock to make Team Canada. I think he should have been invited this year.

Does he play very physically, or not so much?

I've watched Barker play a couple times this year, and he will surprise people in June. He will go very, very high. I personally don't think 2nd overall is out of the question depending on the team.
