Playstation 4 EASHL: How are drop-ins chosen?

I ALWAYS end up on the worst team in drop-in games.

ALWAYS.

The other team is always full of super skilled guys, while my team consists of people who refuse to pass, don't care about helping out defensively etc.

How are the teams decided?
