now if it is a soft cap with a luxury tax thats different because that allows flexibility, but in a hard cap EVERYTHING has to count.

They're certainly going to try to factor in the signing bonuses from now on in the next CBA. But that doesn't mean they will factor in signing bonuses pre-CBA.

Exactly my point.

Signing Bonus' will count against the Cap, if it's put in place. That's not a question. But Holik's contract will only count 6 million against the Cap, since his contract was signed during the last CBA.
