The Oilers are looking to flip Jack Johnson at 50% ret. ($2,178,572 caphit). He's a UFA this year and a strong addition to your blueline for a team looking to make some noise.

Jackets confirm. Needed the space and we liked the defenseman offered.

We've also sent a 2019 4th round pick to Buffalo for goaltender Chad Johnson

Buffalo wishes Chad well. We feel Ullmark is ready to take the backup position though.

Also it seems like Evander Kane has been moved in a bigger deal involving Lehner. Stay tuned.

Don't ask about

Chris Kreider
Henrik Lundqvist (NMC)
Mika Zibanejad
Brady Skjei
Lias Andersson
Pavel Buchnevic
Kevin Shattenkirk

Really good assets that can be had

Ryan McDonagh (contract status)
Mats Zuccarelo
JT Miller

On The Block

Rick Nash
Marc Staal
Micheal Grabner

Looking to retool, team is clearly lacking elite young talent we have excellent assets available to teams trying to make runs. Look at the precedence of the OEL return we will be asking for something similar for McDonagh. Looking to make a hockey trade for JT Miller for a similar aged defender.

Don't send me trash offers, they will be ignored.

For me, seems a little rushed. The game has only started for a couple days. I would suggest maybe having a week of trading before the deadline.

I'd prefer a later deadline as well. I'll be away from the comp most of the day saturday.

:vegas Kevan Miller

:bruins 2018 2nd

We are close on a couple RDs, but weren't willing to sacrifice the future paying a 1st+ or a Top 6 F. Kevan is a solid dman that is also cost controlled.

Plus I'm pretty sure we lead the league in Millers and Lindbergs now ;)

Several talks surrounding Seymon Varlamov. If interested, shoot me a pm with an idea. Also could move Jonathan Bernier if a team just wants a quality backup for the playoffs. UFA after this year, can move him for a 3rd /4th rounder. Blake Comeau also available for a pick for a contender wanting to add a nice bottom 6 forward for a run.

Looking for a young, quality winger. Willing to move Ottawa's 2018 1st (Ottawa has option of deferring to unprotected 2019 1st if they end up in bottom 10), prospects such as Chris Bigras, Cam Morrisson, and Vladislav Kamenev, and certain roster players.

To :isles - Evander Kane (50%) + Robin Lehner + BUF 2018 4th

To :sabres - Anthony Beauvillier + NYI 2018 1st + CGY 2018 2nd + Thomas Greiss + Thomas Hickey + Logan Cockerill

We had many great offers on Kane but decided the biggest one was the best. Lehner isn't the guy in net we want to move forward with and are happy to roll with Greiss-Ullmark splitting the starts and hoping Ullmark steals the starter job. If not, the next couple of years should allow our other prospects time to develop. Pleased to add a talented, young forward in Beauvillier who we think has tons of potential as well as a 1st + 2nd. Cockerill is a nice sweetner who we have scouted and been a fan of for a while.

Pouliot for a 3rd. Larsson and Beaulieu for picks/prospects or in hockey trades. Both need a change of scenery so will come cheap yet have effective skills to be solid, cheap and young depth NHLers,

I don't think that we can get the entire game done before Christmas if the TD is as far as tuesday.

In 9 days, we will lose most interest for sure.

Tomas Plekanec has been traded to the New York Islanders for their 2018 3rd round pick. We retain 50% of his salary as part of the trade.
To :isles - Evander Kane (50%) + Robin Lehner + BUF 2018 4th

To :sabres - Anthony Beauvillier + NYI 2018 1st + CGY 2018 2nd + Thomas Greiss + Thomas Hickey + Logan Cockerill

:isles confirm these trades and also announce we have traded our 2018 4th to the Ottawa Senators for Nate Thompson.

It was a steep price to pay for Kane/Lehner, but we feel we filled two big needs and along with the additions of Justin Braun , Tomas Plekanec and Nate Thompson have improved in ever area of our roster.

Monday seems fair to me. Personally done making most of my moves but maybe give the weekend for those too busy during the week.

Perhaps Monday then? I'm going to be pretty busy but can fit it in if enough people prefer it.
I'm fine with Monday. I'm flying out east in the afternoon, but that gives us all the weekend to finish stuff up.
