Our major focus this offseason is going to be on the blueline and adding right handed shots. We're looking for:

• Top pairing defenseman.
• Right handed offensive defenseman, Top-4 calibre.
• Forwards with right handed shots.

To accomplish this, we're open to discussing many assets.

• I would package the 1st round pick for a defenseman that fits our needs.
• We're heavy on Top-4 LHD and would look to move one of Russell, Sekera, or Klefbom, maybe even in a swap for a RHD?
• I would explore a Nuge trade if it brought in a top pairing RHD. Would rather explore the picks and defensemen options above though.
• McDavid & Draisaitl are not going anywhere.

Primarily looking to acquire a 2nd line center, preferably on a shorter term deal. Willing to accept a salary dump type as long as the term is no longer than 2 years. Also open to taking on a salary dump on defense with the same contract conditions.

Will listen to offers on Chris Tanev but any offer must include either a 1st round pick or equivalent defensive prospect.

Looking to move out some extra forwards in Sven Baertschi/Nikolai Goldobin, Markus Granlund, Sam Gagner as well as defensemen Ben Hutton/Derrick Pouliot, Michael Del Zotto for picks/prospects.

Will most likely be most active in free agency.

Really want to add quality secondary scoring, particularly a high end #2 centre. Willing to move the 16th overall, both 2nds, Ottawa's 2019 1st rounder, prospects like Kamenev / Meloche, and youngsters like Alexander Kerfoot. Tyson Barrie can be moved in the right trade, but only for an equivalent or clearly better centre (can be Barrie+(+)). It will take a top quality deal to move him, not interested in a package in return.

Would also be very interested in either acquiring a starting goalie, or a high end goalie prospect.
