What's your point? The guy prefers modern players?

Or maybe there are just more modern players than there are Montreal players.

Well pre 1980ish there aren't a lot of guys from BC, the states ect..although there were a few from Russia.

My current list would look a lot different than the slit I put together before the project but quite a few guys that I left off I was very comfortable with my reasons, even if the project as a whole had a different perspective on them.

As for the "extreme voting" the more modern guys tended to drop quite a bit more or came up quite a bit later than I had them ranked and part of the differences is most likely how I deal with the fully integrated league not be on a totally equal basis as a 6 team league, or a 4 or 3 team one or the differences in player composition and talent streams.

A lot of people say they take these differences into consideration but the arguments around that idea suggest otherwise (generally speaking).

Surpsingly there are some old players who he decides to rank very high like Broadbent for whatever reason, adding to the randomness.
Similarly his Soviet player rating makes no sense either of course.

?? He didn't rank Broadbent on his round 1 list and didn't rank him in the round 13 voting.

You really like the 90s.

the 90's can be explained by having the traditional Canadain talent and some new Canadian talent from BC, mainly Hull, Neely, Recchi, Kariya as well as great American and non Russian European wingers as well as some Russians.

Truly in terms of depth and elite talent the 90's really stand out for wingers IMO.
