If Mikita doesn't show up on his 'highest ranked' lists, does that mean at least two voters had him third or higher? Am I reading that correctly?

Solid list, though. Finally, someone has Gilmour over Fedorov as it should be.

9 voters had Mikita 4th, 9 had him 5th.

1 voter had him 3rd; 4 had him lower than 5th.

Apparently a big fan of two-way centers, especially modern ones. And Pierre Turgeon.

Yes, I am a big fan of two-way centers. I think way too many people play the "better offensively, therefore better" card* with far too many centers and I simply stand out as being one who refuses to do that. (see: Malkin v Datsyuk)

As far as one-dimensional centers go, in the absence of other glaring factors it's not that hard to simply rank them in order of offensive dominance, hence someone like Pierre Turgeon being 57th, just barely below Perreault and Savard, and ahead of Lafontaine.

* except when talking about Pierre Turgeon, obviously!
