''You cannot get more natural abilities from a hockey player than Washington’s charismatic first rounder in 2003''

he was drafted in 2004

good list,

but let me be the first to point out that Ovechkin was drafted in 04, not 03.

I think Lehtonen and Lundqvist get too much love...Toivonen has looked just as capable while being a year younger than Lehtonen and 2 years younger than Lundqvist.

Thoughts? or am I just Bruins-biased?

Ehh...I think all 3 are great. Only problem i had was Ward being higher then Toivonen.

Toivonen is not near those two.

I like it. Small little error in there though...

Ovechkin was drafted in 2004, not 2003. Surprised nobody picked up on that.

You all are getting awfully excited over the 1 and 2 thing. I happen to agree with it actually. They had to pick someone and why not the guy with the slight edge right now? I think that they could have gone either way and been right on this one though. Did you all miss this part? 'slight edge over Sidney Crosby, though there is very little separating the two in terms of potential.' About a tie from what I see as well. Apparently HF felt the same, and this would have been exactly how I would have voted if I had a vote.
