I thought about Adam Oates (a little too good against non-Hawks), Elmer Lach (same thing and didn't even play that much against the Hawks) and, well, Gilmour (who happened to play the Hawks during.. pretty much all his good runs, plus some other years, but apparently it's not him).

Ullman? I mean, he did have good years when his teams were actually facing the Hawks, but...
Ullman is correct.

In the 1982 Stanley Cup Final, who scored the only Canucks goal on Pacific Coliseum home ice?

Games 3-4 of that series were 3-0 and 3-1 as part of the Islanders' sweep of Vancouver.

That would be Stan Smyl.

Something I looked up last night when it appeared that Pekka Rinne might eclipse the record...

Since 1971 (as far back as my database), what's the lowest save percentage for an NHL playoff game-winning goaltender?

(I'll remove the low-hanging fruit first - there are no NHL playoff winners with an undefined save percentage).

Answer is on my Twitter feed if you want to cheat.

Is it Frank Pietrangelo? (I do remember him getting a win in a partial game, and the Penguins scored a lot, so..)

Lowest I see for Pete is an 83.3% (15 saves on 18 shots, 40 minutes, 6-4 Penguins win over Minnesota in Game Five of the 1991 Finals), although the other good candidate is the 7-6 OT win over Washington (36 saves on 42 shots, 85.7%).

Two hints - the game in question happened between the 1994-95 lockout and the 2004-05 lockout, and the goaltender involved played for his country in both the Olympics and the World Cup.

...I have no clue.
BUT I admit I misunderstood the question (as in, reading-in "SC Finals" in the question); thus, my Pietrangelo answer was probably the good answer to my own question (but not yours).

...So...errhhh... the worst goalie I can think of who participated in both events is Tommy Soderstrom and I'm not even sure his teams made the playoffs at any point.

Lowest in the Stanley Cup Finals (1971 to present) is actually Tony Esposito, in that wild 8-7 Chicago win over Montreal on May 8, 1973 - seven goals on 30 shots (76.7% save percentage).

The lowest in any series is...Robert Esche, May 2, 2004, in a 7-2 Flyers win over Toronto. Esche played the first period, faced two shots and allowed one goal. Left (officially with an upper body injury) in favor of Sean Burke at the intermission with a 3-1 lead.

Bottom ten:
Robert Esche (5/2/2004) 50%
Steve Baker (4/24/1981) 73.3%
Gerry Cheevers (4/15/1977) 75%
Ron Grahame (4/19/1978) 75%
Mario Lessard (4/7/1982) 75.8%
Martin Brodeur (4/28/2001) 76.2%
Bob Sauve (4/14/1983) 76.5%
Tony Esposito (5/8/1973) 76.7%
Evgeni Nabokov (4/16/2010) 77.3%
Four at 78.3% (Meloche, Gosselin, Fuhr, Moog)

After giving up five goals on 21 shots (in a 5-4 loss to Russia), Esche may not want to remember either. Full disclosure: I'd love to play one Olympic game, even if it meant giving up 40 goals on 40 shots.

And a picture of the victim:

IIRC that was partly due to Esche leaving after the 1st period with an injury and Sean Burke played the rest of the game, but Esche/Burke were boosted to a big lead (That was the game where Primeau had a hat trick and Bryan McCabe had an egregiously bad game on defense)

Yessir - Esche left at the first intermission with an upper body injury. He was staked to a 3-1 lead in an ultimate 7-2 win.

Can anyone guess which player has scored the most career playoff points against the following teams:

Los Angeles Kings?
Minnesota North Stars/Dallas Stars?
Philadelphia Flyers?
Pittsburgh Penguins?
St. Louis Blues?

Tom Bladon is definitely one of them.

Correct! December 11th, 1977. Bladon scored 4 goals, assisted on 4 others in a Flyers 11-1 romp over the Cleveland Barons. Hint/clue.... a record unmatched for 9 seasons thereafter.... Orr had held the previous record from a game vs the Rangers in 73, when he scored 3, assisted on 4.

Rudi Hiti? Had to look up his name, but knew it was a Slovenian guy from the Original Six era.
