Agree he may a) be a declining asset, b) not find a good fit, c) take the occasional scratch among over a dozen top 9 forwards, due to age, competition, d) have at least a few injuries, all of which combines to him missing 20 games and lowering production.

0.5 points per game is a conservative/realistic projection. I doubt he makes 20 goals, unless other injuries allow him more PP time. But, having another 15 goal guy, along with Nuke, Faksa, Janmark, Hemsky, Ritchie (?), Eakin, etc. isn't all bad.

Call me crazy but I think he will put up some points this year. Maybe he'll be so slow he'll net a bunch of goals being the trailer on the play.
