The votes were so all over the map on the last one, good to see a better consensus this round.

Voting Berglund. Wouldn't be surprised if he got a game or two in this season if we see some injuries to the right side defense.

Picked Mazura because he has the best interview
I really liked Mazura as a darkhorse guy but then he got hurt pretty much this entire season. If you're slow playing it that's a tough thing to overcome because playing lots is the real advantage to that path. Hopefully he has a rebound season.

Curious, why do you have Beryozkin over Makismov?

1) Maksimov's stats have not been impressive since turning pro.
2) Beryozkin IMO has more pure skill and looks like a better skater,
3) Maksimov is farther along in his development and is a sub par season away from being much more suspect than prospect.

Cool thanks for the insight. I like both of them (from what I read haha). Do you think either of them have any interest as coming over to the AHL.

As the designated underagers on their teams, seems like they get no time on ice.

Maksimov is a Canadian who has already played in the AHL. I can’t see him having any objection to coming back

If Maksimov has any dreams of playing in the NHL it would be foolish of him to stay in Russia at this point. IMO Beryozkin should stay at least 1 more season there before coming over and might be better served to stay 2 more seasons.
