Out of everyone on that list, I think Simpson has the best chance of carving out an NHL career. He could be a bottom pairing guy. Hopefully he is a late bloomer like Davidson was

Marino. 6'2 right-handed two-way defensemen never go out of style, and his rookie year at Harvard is extremely similar to Petry's at MSU when his numbers looked so-so thanks to an extremely deep and talented team that had to spread the minutes around. Next year will be a better indication of what he can do.

Going with the one guy on this list who plays in the NHL probably ever, Rattie, who knows he was once a promising prospect and this is probably his last shot.

Man I wish Yakimov would stick around, had a great preseason a few years ago, I think it was Chia who said he was going to be the Callup instead of Drai when Mcdavid went down. Think there could have been a 3rd liner in him

I see Starrett is still under rated on this board. He'll battle it out with Nick Ellis for starter in Bakersfield and I would not put it past him to win out. Guy should be in the top 20 for sure.

I went with Ty Rattie. Maybe a good change of scenery will jump start this guys career. If he has a good training camp, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get called up this year if we have a RW go down. Looks like he's done well at the AHL level, just hasn't been able to get it going in the NHL. Mind you St. Louis would have been a tough roster to crack.

Might be a career AHL'r but maybe the Oilers can get more out of him.

Let's keep playing this game till we run out of players. Season is still too far away.

A big thanks to McMosesmadness :handclap: for the work put in for these polls.

Phil Kemp. He wasn't out of place at the world juniors showcase. 6'3 200lbs already. Leadership ability.
