Either Niemelainen or Marino for me. But I have to go with Niemelainen. Sure he had a down season last year after getting drafted, but this guy is huge (6-5, 200+ pounds) and still has a lot of tools to be able to be successful and make it to the NHL, even if it's more of a physical, shut-down type on say the 3rd pairing. I think he's still filling into his very tall body, so I don't think he's hit his stride yet for that major reason, but we'll see. He has more potential to me than Marino, so I have to go with him for that reason, as both are kind of long-shots anyway.

You're higher on Wells and Samorukov. I like both as well with high hopes on them of course.

Although you're not as intrigued on Safin or Mantha and no Paigin on your list, not even in your top 15. That's interesting.

Actually, I'd say intrigued is the exact word I'd use to describe those 3. I just feel with Paigan and Mantha, they need to prove it more than others. I've said it earlier, but a good first year pro for either guy and they will rocket up my personal rankings. Safin similar situation but with his transition to NA.

I would put all three in a potential breakout category. I don't know why there are specific players that need to prove themselves to me more than others, but I have a greater sense of comfort with guys like Wells, Samorukov, Jones, Bear etc.
