25 years old, never touched professional ice in North America. Outside chance at making the roster might be a stretch. However, his chances of making the team are very similar to anyone else left on the poll

I've been continually surprised at how little love Nick Ellis has been getting. He had one of the best stat lines at his position in the entire country and the best in his school's history after never playing more than 7 games in a collegiate season. He could be our, well... Cam Talbot... and thus primed for duty when Talbot's priced himself out of Edmonton. Having cheap goaltending is going to be extremely important for our cap structure going forward and Ellis is looking like a major piece of the puzzle.

Radio interview yesterday on TSN 1260 the guy (sorry, can't remember who it was) said the Musil still has a fair amount of upside. Compared him to Reinhart.

Radio interview yesterday on TSN 1260 the guy (sorry, can't remember who it was) said the Musil still has a fair amount of upside. Compared him to Reinhart.

I like Musil but he is older and slower than Reinhart. They play the same smart positional defensive game and I while I want Musil to succeed, I just can't see him surpassing Reinhart and doing it in Edmonton.
