Ducks, Sharks, and Devils are the teams that have a 1st rounder still. I’d like to try and fill these spots organically.

I’d consider giving someone who wants to sign up the choice of two teams without 1st but have 2nds (IE: Boston & Winnipeg; Bolts & Knights)

Teams like the Flames and the Preds that don’t have many high picks will likely get farmed out to posters that want to double up on teams. I’ll hold a lottery for it again based on how many people want a 2nd team

I’m waiting for signup to fill before posting a draft order. I was hoping for results in this round to be quicker so we have as accurate a draft order as possible. I don’t mind delaying things as we’ve shown we can bang these out in about a month, but we’ll see.

Also... May long will be upon us later this month. Last year I stopped the clock for the long weekend but picks were permitted to be made. I’m thinking of doing the same thing. Comments or suggestions?

Most of the points sound good to me. I personally dont really like stopping the clock for the long weekend but its not a big deal for me. I am fine with whatever everyone else thinks. I think most people still pick so its kinda a moot point but its nice for the people who go camping or something.

I'd lean towards not stopping the clock. I think it's pretty bad if it turns out 1 guy who is away camping or something holds up the draft for everyone else just because of the clock. I feel like that happened last year, but I don't remember exactly. Of course if the majority wants the clock to be stopped that's fine too.

I sort of remember the draft rolling and then it stopped because one person was away. I thought that once the long weekend was over, the person who was suppose to pick, went AWOL and we had to find someone else to pick for the team. I could be wrong though.

I guess it would be nice to know the people who are drafting if they are planning on being away for the weekend, so we dont end up waiting for no reason.

Yes, that happened last year where we paused the clock and a poster was having a difficult weekend. I didn’t mind not having picks during the weekend if your away, but if your logging on and not making your pick than your letting everyone else down.

We take around a month to finish these and the 3-4 days isn’t going to be an impediment, just may be an annoyance.

I am out this year.. really haven't been following prospects and while I can research as I go I feel I would mostly be guessing my way through.
