With the 189th overall pick the Las Vegas Golden Nights select C - Brady Gilmour - Saginaw (OHL)

At 5-foot-10, 170-pounds, Gilmour gives up quite a bit to the opposition in terms of size, but he counters with a hockey IQ that is off the charts. Gilmour plays in all situations and, while he may not make the flashy plays, he always seems to be in the right place at the right time.

In the second half of the season, he has been money for the Spirit scoring 13 goals and adding seven assists in 19 games, including a streak of five straight games in January with a point.

Gilmour was left off NHL scouting lists earlier in the season, due in large part to his size, but he's silenced those doubters.

This is a way off the board pick (not ranked anywhere) but I have faith in my instincts . Johansson spent the last year playing in SuperElit for Djurgardens and put up 21 pts in 41 games. He's a 6'2" RHD and he's cousins with Blue Jackets' forward Alexander Wennberg. This late in the draft I figured I'd take a shot on him.
