Bumping this with updates above.

It should noted that there has been a ton of action around the 8th overall pick and I am still very open to a trade for the right value, or up or down on draft day.

Also open to trading my 2016 1st and 2nd for picks this year if someone wants to flip any of those.

Flames are also looking for a 3rd round pick this year to take a project player before some of the other sharks get the chance.

After a couple of big trades the Flames have their roster set for the season and won't be bidding in free agency.

That said, the Flames are still in the midst of a rebuild, and have extra assets (4 NHL goalies, 11 NHL Defenseman) that I want to use to re-stock my depleted draft picks. Therefore:

Jake Gardiner
Pat Wiercioch
Martin Marincin
Dmitri Orlov
Mirco Mueller
Ryan Murphy

are on the block

as well as looking to move one or two of my backup G

Anton Khudobin
James Reimer
Alex Stalock

The Flames have traded one of the defenseman surplus to requirements (pending league approval) and are probably not going to trade away any other roster players at this time except for:

Anton Khudobin

Flames have 3 NHL goalies on the roster and are making Khudobin available. On a one year deal at a great price, in a great situation now in Anaheim, where he should emerge as one of the best rated backups in the league

With the season about to start a reminder of the Flames trade block:

Anton Khudobin - G - expiring contract, very reasonable at just about $2 million
Trevor Lewis - F - expiring contract, good bottom 6 forward, young enough to be able to sign longer term if needed.
Erik Condra - F - expiring contract, off to a hot start in Tampa Bay.
Ryan Murphy and Martin Marincin - two young defenseman who are far down the Flames depth chart.

Martin Marincin - D
Jake Gardiner - D
Patrick Berglund - F
Jeff Skinner - F
Joe Colborne - F

Any and all draft picks including 2016 PHI 1st

Flames are looking for an upgrade on the 2nd line and a top 4 D please. Can add salary as well.

Update following the recent trade:

Anton Khudobin
Patrick Wiercioch
Trevor Lewis
Erik Condra

All on the block.

The Flames are looking for a good defensive 3rd line forward - contract doesn't matter as we have space - and draft assets in the 2016 draft to rebuild the pool of picks after having traded most of their picks away in recent deals.

Also players previously mentioned in the thread are also available.

The Flames are looking to rebuild their draft picks base for the 2016 & 2017 draft. As well, players the Flames do not intend to sign for 2016 will be available between now and the trade deadline.

Also: the Flames hunt for an elite PK'er, F or D, salary is irrelevant.

Patrick Berglund - F
Patrick Wiercioch - D
Andrej Sekera - D
Trevor Lewis - F
Erik Condra - F
Martin Marincin - D
