Jiricek
Clarke
Holtz
Reichel
Perfetti

I think Holtz should start getting some votes and serious consideration in the next 2 to 4 spots. Had a great PPG year in the AHL in his first pro North American season. Maybe the best shot out of all prospects here. Great offensive instincts and underrated playmaking abilities.

With that being said, Jiricek here, Clarke next for me.

Perfetti. Based on what he has accomplished and the opportunity he is gong to get in the Jets top 6 next year. Not playing since February due to an injury has really made people forget how good he was with Jets, with the Moose and on Team Canada.last year.

Voted Perfetti, same reasons as before. He was near a point per game in the AHL when he was called up to the Jets and was one of their best players up until his injury.

Add Dmitry Rashevsky. 21 years old and was in the top 25 of KHL scoring last year with 35 points in 48 games. The only question mark about him is just how much pressure he'll be under to stay in Russia.

Why Jiricek over Clarke? Am I missing something when I watch them play

I can't speak for what you're missing, maybe quality of league? I think Jiricek would have shredded the OHL, something like 70 pts with that shot of his. He's a better defender too, I don't see any reason to prefer Clarke.

Jiricek

Gauthier
Reichel
Peterka

I thought about it and I'm just more confident in Gauthier, Reichel, and Peterka than a lot of the others in this range because they're the best skaters. Those kids can fly. No holes in their games. Rossi and Perfetti show more magic in the OHL but I'm not sure if the high end is going to come through in the NHL for them.

Add Pavel Mintyukov.

I had him ahead of Nemec. I think his skill is off the charts and that he could be a #1D for the Ducks. Hockey Prospect also put him ahead of Nemec, 5th and 6th.

Eklund, Jiricek, Johnston, Perfetti and Holtz are probably the top options for me at this point (in no particular order).

Eklund, then Perfetti for me. I really don't think Jiricek is the 13th best U22 prospect right now.

I don't see as much upside with any of them compared to Jiricek. And in Clarke's case Jiricek is the safer bet, he's better than him currently and a good bit younger. I don't know why Holtz is even in these conversations to be honest. Good lower level scoring but what are his NHL attributes other than the shot?
