Definitely a difficult one. Went with Hellebuyck for now. Could've just as easily voted Saros or Sorokin aswell though.

Edit: Markström aswell, kinda hard to assess him at the moment though, especially after the playoffs but he was understandably fatigued.

Markstrom was great in the first round of the playoffs. He had a rough 5 games.

What's the argument for Sorokin over Saros?

I acknowledge that Sorokin has a very small body of work in the NHL, but last season he was better than Saros in virtually any goaltending metric on a team that was worst in the standings.

SV%, Quality start %, GAS, Shutouts, Goals Saved Above Average, EV SV%, PP SV%, "High danger scoring chance SV%"

Sorokin was also a beast in the KHL, so hopefully this season wasn't a fluke.

Saros is the safe pick since he's got more mileage, but I chose Sorokin due to him simply being better last season.

Wow that is a drop off from the top two. I feel like you could make a case for basically any of these guys at #3.

Also, I'd add Oettinger and Kuemper next round, would also consider adding MAF (def Oett and Kuemps though)

I admit I voted Sorokin just to finalize the Russian top 3.

That said, still him or Soros / Demko
