HF Sharks Playoff Pool 2018

Continuing the tradition heading into the 2018 postseason. rangerssharks414 going for the three-peat.

RULES​

-A deadline will be posted once the playoff schedule is announced

-Edits are allowed up until first series begins (formal game time)

SCORING​

-Weighted

-Each Round is worth 100pts, 75pts going to predicting winner and # of games (75/8=9.375pts per series in Round 1, 25 going to goal differential (25/8=3.125pts per series in Round 1)

-Full points for correct team, # of games, and goal differential

-55% (of the 75pts) for correct team (9.375*.55 = 5.16pts for correct team in 1st round)

-If you guess the correct team, 35% for 1 game off (9.375*.35 = 3.28 + 5.16 for correct team so total of 8.44.) 20% for 2 games off

-If you guess the wrong team, 30% for correct # of games, 20% for 1 game off, None after that

-For goal differential, if you guess exactly you get full pts for that series (3.125pts in 1st round)

-Then it goes down by increments of 10%. 1 goal off you get 90% of possible pts, 2 goals off you get 80% of possible pts, etc.

EXAMPLE​

[PLEASE USE THIS FORMAT] - Nashville in 5, +4

I say Nashville will beat Colorado in 5 games with a goal differential of +4. Nashville wins in 6, with a goal differential of +6.

I get 5.16pts for predicting Nashville, 3.28pts for being 1 game off, and 2.5pts for being 2 goals off, for a total of 10.94pts.
