Obviously the strength of his team and the strength (or there lack of) of the opponents are worth considering, but Timo gets to play with Thornton or Couture next season, it shouldn't be all that different.

What shouldn't be that different?

There are a few things I think he's going to struggle with at the next level but most of them can be mitigated a bit by playing with Thornton...not so much Couture.

If Timo shows enough in camp to make a case for the NHL next year, then why not:

I want to make sure that we give Patty a playmaker on his line next year. Goldobin should work well on that line and Patty and Hertl/Nieto/Wingels should be able to support him defensively.

All this being said, there is a very small chance that both Goldobin and Timo just fit in right away. But boy, if that happens, we are going to be a very dangerous team.
