Alex Ovechkin - Nicklas Backstrom - Leo Komarov
Marcus Johansson - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Kyle Palmieri
Boone Jenner - Riley Sheahan - Alex Tuch
Matthew Nieto - David Desharnais - Tobias Rieder

Roman Josi - Shea Weber
Jack Johnson - Justin Schultz
Jake McCabe - Trevor Van Riemsdyk

Devan Dubnyk
Curtis McElhinney

Feel like this is a really deep team. Big star power with Ovechkin, Backstrom, Josi, Weber and a top 6-7 goaltender in Dubnyk. Defense can move the puck as well as any team. The 4th line has a combined 76 points even with Rieder having an off-year. Ovechkin-Backstrom-Komarov played together in Moscow during the lockout and I can afford to have a 30 point grinder type on that line as Washington has used in the past. Very happy with how it turned out, I don't see any holes in this lineup.

I really like this lineup as it is a good mix of skilled young players and veterans.

The 1st foward line is All-World with Pasta and Drai. Parise provides some veteran leadership for that line and is probably good for 20-25 goals with these 2 studs.
The 2nd forward line is all speed and skill and can grow into one of the most lethal lines in the NHL in the near future.
The 3rd forward line consists of highly anticipated, still young players who have the ability to break out at any point in time. Good mix of size, speed, and skill on this line as well.
The 4th forward line is a good veteran line that can bang it up, good defensively, and can provide some leadership in the room.

The 1st D pairing is exceptional as Myers allows Ghost to focus more on offense. Ghost would get 60+ points on this pairing.
The 2nd D pairing consists of Dmen who have played big minutes for their teams and have been relied on to shut down the top competition of other teams.
The 3rd pairing consists of a very solid veteran defensive dman and a highly touted prospect who can learn the ropes from one of the most stable defenders in the game.

The goaltending speaks for itself. All Star goalie with an exveptional track record as well as a fantastic young backup goalie who will blossom under the mentorship of Fleury.

All in all, I think this team is a darkhorse to win it all. Only time will tell...
