Behrens' upside as a top 4D puts him higher than Meyers (surefire ~3rd liner/bottom 6 F) and Olausson (2nd line winger upside).
I give Meyers the edge over Olausson because he's more ready and can also play center. Olausson over Meyers would also be valid though based purely on upside.
I don’t project players into roles. The Avs don’t approach it that way so I don’t pencil anyone in. Sticking as a NHLer at all is an enormous hill to climb to begin with.
I don’t believe the org takes Ranta that serious anymore. Beaucage’s skating was fine in the AHL last season and he was actually defensively competent and Cronin seemed to like him, which are all things I would not have expected to say this time last year.
