Here's a great argument of why to side with owners.

Lonny Bohonos articulates well, I think, the duplicity and double mindedness of the NHLPA. This is a great read and you really have to feel for those Europeans and North American imports over in the World Leagues who have lost jobs because of the NHL'ers moving overseas.

We here in Calagary do not want a guy named Lonny Bohonos replacing Jarome Iginla, Toronto can keep him.

Good article, it just shows how stubbourn, greedy, and out of touch with reality the NHLPA, and players are. Worst players in any sports, so greedy, and out of touch with fans, these are some of the worst athletes ever.

Refs

Out of respect to their counterparts in the developmental leagues and Europe, the refs as a whole chose to sit out the strike and the most any of them is making is 100K.

Shame on the NHLPA for taking livelihoods away from guys who are just trying to eke out a meesly living out of doing what they truly love to do.

Go ahead and ask member of the media and they would vehemently argue against you.

NHL players are always considered the nicest, most down-to-earth, and most respected athletes on the planet.

You think all those Flames are a bunch of bad guys ??? Iginla, donovan, Regehr, Kipper ... all a bunch of jerks ???

Well the European team owners had to fill up their buildings and raise the ticket prices, after all these expensive players came over and demanded their going rate.

Those greedy players. Imagine going over to these house leagues and taking jobs from people who never expected to compete for them. Dumped by their owners for better players, imagine that. What is the world of sports coming to. Now they actually have to compete for their job. Something has to change
