Help: In A Brand New Keeper League

Hey All,

I'm starting up a brand new keeper league with friends. It's a points only league. I'm trying to make an updated top 15 list but haven't seen anything on HF. I was thinking:

1. Crosby
2. Stamkos
3. Malkin
4. Ovie
5. Tavares
6. Seguin
7. MacKinnon
8. Giroux
9. Hall
10. Getzlaf
11. Kane
12. Perry
13. Kessel
14. Benn
15. Backstrom

In a keeper league I'd personally put Tavares at 3, mostly because of the KHL option for Ovy and Malkin. But also due to Tavares being so young. I'd also put Hall behind Kane due to his reckless style of play.

Thanks for the info. Do you think MacKinnon is too high? Is Getzlaf too low?

Well i think that kinda depends on your depth players. Mac is a lot younger but Getz is very proven and consistent. But yes I would agree with that statement, Getz should out score mac for the next 3 years, after that, who knows.

Fair enough, sorry if I overreacted. I must have read your post wrong. As an Avs fan, I find it interesting that you have MacKinnon 5. After seeing him last season, it really makes me wonder just how early he should go. I guess it will just depend on where I end up drafting.

Didn't realize I couldn't use their list to based it off of my top 15????? Sorry? I mean really....
