Who should my goalie be going into next year?

Both should keep their level of plays next year. Both goalies have near identical stat lines. Both teams are in the top 3 of their divisions and likely will be again next year.

It's close, because they are both great young talents in the league, but Gibson is a huge band-aid boy, so for me, it's Hellebuyck.

The team with the young talent. Its a keeper and you usually think long term

Getzlaf, Perry and Kesler are not getting any younger and none of the Ducks young talent screams superstar. The team in front of the goalie matters as much as the goalie himself.

Scheifele is locked up long term and he is a Seguin level talent. Laine is a superstar. Ehlers will be a superstar. Kyle Connor will be a superstar. Morrisey and Trouba are a damn fine young pair of D that do not score much, so their price will be lower. The team will have cap trouble in 2 years, but that's 2 years away.

This is a no brainer to keep Hellboy
