Yes and no. He is obviously the most seasoned of our young d-men, but he's still a rookie and he's had the least time off of the lot of them. We've all seen how some periodic scratches can spark the young guys and serve as much needed rest/reflection/teaching periods. He will obviously be back soon, don't think we need to fret over 1 or 2 games or even a week off.

I wouldnt be surprised if the schedule has been hurting Mitchell. as we know, NCAA doesnt play as much as AHL or CHL so I’m sure it could a factor in his dip in play. Nothing to be worried about, he still looks like a solid four 4 D in his future!
