I used to be a roller hockey madman, playing 5 times + per week. I rarely have time to do much of anything now but I want to learn to ice skate, starting off at the public skates.
I never ice skated before, and I don't know how to perform a hockey stop since roller hockey is basicall just a power slide. What can I expect and is there a certain technique I should use? I've heard that you just bend you kness really deep and turn into it while keeping your torso straight.
