ridiculously attempt at making a point. So you lose top players who are key contributors and it is the new guys' fault the team is losing? The argument makes no sense.

They have produced 0,3 point per game COMBINED.

Good news is that things can only get better from here.

Reaves was never brought in to play like James Neal or David Perron - that's obviously not the way he plays. Since the game where he was given 2 bogus penalties in the 7 minutes he really hasn't been bad. He hasn't helped too much, but hasn't hurt the team either. Tatar has shown good signs, but has so far been unable to really connect with a steady line - so far. I expect that to change.
The team has not been the same since Neal went out and as talented as Tuch, Hyka and Tatar are, they simply haven't found the right chemistry with Perron and Haula. Losing Smith is obviously having the same effect on the Karlsson/ Marchessault line.

Although the defense and Fleury have been pretty good the last 2 games, he hasn't been great since the beginning of February. In the 19 games since then, they have allowed 12 games with 3 or more goals and just 7 games with 2 or less. Add in the coaches challenges that were called back on offside and were now at 14 games with 3 or more goals allowed (nearly 75%) and just 5 out of 19 games where we've allowed just 2 or fewer goals against. In 7 out of 19 games (nearly 40%) they have allowed 4+ goals per game. This will not be acceptable in the playoffs.

Barely two minutes into the second period, Reaves -- acquired from Pittsburgh on Feb. 23 -- flattened TJ Brodie with a blast that sidelined Calgary's defenseman the remainder of the game while sparking the Golden Knights' recent stagnant offense.
"That was the difference," Gallant said Vegas' 3-0 win over the Flames on Sunday. "That changed the game around. It was a big, clean hit. Ryan's been here for 10, 11, 12 games with us right now and he's doing a good job, he's playing his role real good and that hit changed the game around for sure."

The hit yesterday was what they wanted. The Kings games where he was just hunting hits was not what was wanted or needed. He seems to have found his role for now, but seems unlikely to draw in for the playoffs unless needed. Tatar definitely looks lost for now, but he fits the profile of a secondary scorer that will be needed. Not a big deal if he isn't scoring right now but he needs to find his game and partners. Being a non factor won't cut it in the postseason, he needs to draw attention and score some goals. Right now he's running around the perimeter trying to find soft spots that his teammates find him in.
