Prospect Info: Hallander & Lindberg: Prospects?

Given that both have gone back to play in Europe (Lindberg a 2-year deal; Hallander a 5-year deal) BUT the Pens still have their rights... do you consider them to be prospects for the purposes of our polls?

They were ranked 7th (Lindberg) and 8th (Hallander) last year.

If >50% of the votes say to remove them from the polls, I will do that.

I'd take them out. Between their ages and contract situations, they're not really prospects any more.

Ages... Lindberg is 24 for most of this season and Hallander is 23 for all of it. My cut-off is 25 though I know some people are cool with going up to 26.

They aren't likely to come back here and they don't have any value in a trade so I'd say no longer prospects.

my take on it too.

just an utter waste to spend assets for young players we can’t or don’t want to develop, imo.

So I can't really answer the poll.

I personally go with a simple

Do the Pens own their rights
Does their age and experience make them a prospect

The answer is yes on both. Them going back to Europe makes them very long shot prospects but there's no shortage of them.

Not that fussed if they're not on there though.

If Lindberg hadn't sucked in the AHL this past year I'd look at his status differently.
