Streit was the Penguins #8 defensemen with Letang injured last year. That should just about sum up his effectiveness as a player at this point. The dude is done.

He's effectively played himself into becoming Montreal's 9th D (and that excludes Jerabek who will probably be called up eventually). He's probably done.

best case is you get a conditional 6th for him.

Likely it's a 7th that turns itno a pick if x conditions are met.

Hopefully someone will take Bergevin with him.

It should be interesting to see how this plays out. Maybe a team like Toronto that needs some defensive depth offers a conditional 7th. The condition might be winning the Cup.

Bottom pairing/7th D is the last thing Toronto needs, they have 5 or 6 as is.

Anyone with a brain knew this signing was doomed from the beginning, he is literally useless at his stage in his career

lol at an expansion team giving up their first round pick.

I'll throw a kidney in with Galchenyuk and Streit if it returns Theodore and Shipachyov

I'm not sure Streit could even crack the Marlies. The Leafs have a ton of depth on the blueline. What they lack is a #1 D.
