Good work!

If I'd have to make a few comments I'd say that Sindel and Bickell are too low, Meidl and Garlock too high and where is Fransson, but this was a good mock draft!

nice picks for Edmonton, but if Picard is still not drafted, EDM would jump all over him.

The future core of Forwards:

Picard-Pouliot-Hemsky
Mikhnov-Niinimaki-Lisin
Torres-Brodziak-Pisani
Jacques-Stoll-Stortini

:jump: :jump: :jump:

Oiler fans always complains we have too many pluggers, well, with a line up like this, that could grow together, we would have some potent scoring(if all pans out).

players picked in 1st round: 7
players picked in 2nd round: 2
players picked in 3rd round: 1
players picked in 7th round: 1
players picked in 8th round: 1

I think you've got the top 10 or so just about right, but I don't see Edmonton passing on Montoya at #14, and no way do the Blues pass on Picard, Bolland and Lisin to take Smid at #17. I have a hard time believing that Picard, Bolland and Lisin will all drop as far as you predict.

I like Smid a lot -- I have him as my second d-man in the draft, after Barker -- but if Picard is available at #17, the Blues should be all over him like hair on a gorilla. The organ-I-zation is wafer-thin for top-notch LW prospects right now, with only Peter Sejna (and Konstantin Zakharov on his off-wing) having any kind of scoring upside. DJ King, Justin Maiser and Igor Valeev are 10-15 goal men, third- and fourth-line physical grinders at the NHL level. That's it on the port side for the Blues.

Otherwise, nice job. I'm not sure if Bryan Bickell is a first-round talent, but I could see where a team looking for a power forward type might want him that high.

The Rangers aren't taking Wolski. Unless something dramatic changes in their thinking right now, Wolski is not at the top of their list. Period.

Are the Isles reaching if they take Enver Lisin at #15?
