This was the first win for Germany vs Finland since 1993. Under Marjamäki we see a mystery finnish team.

You know, on a closer thought, this may not have been such a bad result. At least the USA game is not a must win. Furthermore, with the point we picked up, we still have a shot at the top seeding. Beat USA in regulation, we have 16 like them, and even if (and likely when) Canada wins its two remaining matches, we would have the tie-breaker against the both of them.

Furthermore, more weaknesses in our game got exposed, so the management can patch them instead of thinking all is fine.

If Germans got into hockey theyd be on par with Russia and Canada/US. But football is king there and will forever stay that way.
Hopefully so. I really need die mannschaft to keep the wife mellow.

Not really disappointed because of the loss. They got a point which was very important. Nice for Germans to get a win. They have only beaten us once before. We were terrible in this game, very deserved loss.

What an apalling performance by Finland. So completely horrid play in the overtime. Goddamn it’s tough to watch this team play. Then these completely IQless speedsters like Kapanen and Honka. They are so frustrating to watch both. Sure speed kills, but when you have no IQ, it turns the killing more into a suicide.

Still this is mostly on the disaster of a coach that Marjamäki is. So lethargic and clueless as a coach, and that is how Finland has looked numerous of times with him as a coach. A team looking just like their coach. Just too much skill there to play like crap every game. But the coach is just piss poor, just way too much evidence about that.

Rantanens low iq leading in last goal. Reads bounce wrong and takes risk dive in same corner with kapanen

Felt like Finland just couldn't be bothered to play hockey tonight but still nice to win for once. Solid performance by Niederberger too, bit lucky with the shot off the post near the end but looked quite poised and calm for most of the game.
Just too bad we squandered more points in the first two games.

Weird! Under Marjamäki so much unexpected losses or tight games. Remember vs France 1:5 ,vs DEN 2:3 and now vs GER OT 2:3 or in olympic vs Korea temporary(after 2 periods) 3:2.
Very foreign! Normally the Finn are famous since decades if there merciless with underdogs.

We beat Korea 5-2 in the olympics.

Can't wait for our god and savior, JJ, come and rip the file out of Marjamäki's hands. Almost 2 years of this has been more than just detrimental to my mental health.
