Ghetto is back, while Necas is still recovering from injury. This will be a very close & exciting match, and I believe in the end Czech Republic will win 3:1.
Btw. Chytil is playing with #72.

switzerland won 3 of the last 5 matches on the world championship. But this will be a tough one and probably a very close match.

Hronek being promoted to the 2nd defense unit, playing with Sulak. Good decision by Jandac!

God, Czechs are just serving it on a silver plate for Swiss so far. Stop taking stupid penalties and show some pulse.

This announcer so good at pronouncing Czech surnames.. Plekanec has been playing in the NHL for 10+ years and he is still Plekanek to this guy.

No. 60 Moravcik is really bad man. I can't get over the fact at how slow he was to react to the Swiss player hammering away at the puck until he scored. Moravcik looked like he was hesitating to make a decision.

Did anyone tell the Czech team they are playing a game tonight? Non-existent effort.

Or the swiss are better than you thought ;)
I think the Swiss are really good and this will be a very even match... I'm calling 2-1 in a shootout for Czechs. I think this is our most important game... a clean 3pt win would make the quarters much easier to reach. A loss would put us in some trouble.

no, everyone knows that they are a very unpredictable and good team, especially the Niederreiter - Corvi connection! first period was mostly boxplay/powerplay - less 5 on 5... We will see if the Czechs can live up to their potential in the 2nd and 3rd :)

Hofmann was very active, much improved. Andrighetto's struggling though. Is it so hard to play beside Nino and Enzo?

My thought exactly, but I don't think it's a matter of chemistry, Andrighetto is genuinely bad.

Ghetto is fine so far beside that blind pass in the last minute. He had what, 3-4 shifts at even strength?
Very strong first 15mins from the boys though, keep it going!
