I liked Corvi, much less Nino and Hoffman, all in all that line much less dangerous then yesterday.
Good match anyways, very few mistakes, tight defense and a sound Berra, but that counted for Slovakia as well.
Of course Scherwey stole the spotlight.

Genazzi plays forward in the 4th line.

Yes, we were talking about that yesterday, and it happened. Fischer took that little 11 (+1) and 7 (-1) gamble, and Switzerland could still be able to add three wonderful guys to their roster, if Nashville and San Jose play favourably. :thumbu:

The last ten minutes were a lot better, high forechecking and the puck stayed far away from Berra most of the time. Slovakia being incredibly clumsy in the offensive zone helped as well, although I guess that the bad quality of the ice played a part in that.

Excellent game by all defensemen.

Yes, clumsy is the right term. They were clearly tired after that battle vs. the Czechs yesterday.

All in all, a very solid performance by the boys. No panic, complete three zones effort, relentless forechecking. It was a pleasure to see.
