Northern Sweden
If you want to describe the Swedish team as being wrestlers, at least call them pro wrestlers. Because they're not the equivalent of f***ing England in football. That's an insult. They haven't scored a trick goal in a 100 years.

But in a way, it's a compliment. It's showing that this is a NHL team. They don't kid around, they hit hard and they want to score. This is like looking at a Canadian team play, in a Swedish way. They're tough, fight for every space of ice and they got skill.

The Swedish junior reforms some decades ago have paid off. They specifically wanted Swedish players to become a bit more Canadian, you know, eat some nails and always consider going to the net. Shoot the puck a bit more. Voilá. This is a Swedish team playing a bit more Canadian.

Filip Forsberg on the 3rd line.. Give this team the gold already. 4 lines of NHL talent.
The only bad aspect on this Swedish team are the goaltenders but they still will make the easy saves behind the forward core and that defense.

If and when they match up against us Finns I fully expect us to be dominated due to our shoddy D and lack of talent in lines 3-4.

Ekholm is our best D today. Klingberg can do better.
You always know exactly what you get with Ekholm he’s a huge dude that skates extremely well is smart defensively and quite talented, and can be physical if its required. Such an intriguing package.
