Groin pull

    I was out playing some pickup with some of my buddies (all guys, I was the only girl) and I lost an edge in the corner and pulled my groin.
    It hurts like an SOB.
    I've been icing and stretching it, but I play regularly and have tryouts for one of the high level teams here in town.

    Ang suggestions what to do to stregthren and hopefully quicken the recovery time?

    You really can't strengthen it while you are recovering. You should be applying heat then stretching, not ice.

    Here is a tip from someone who's pulled a groin. Don't push it, let it heal. If you don't it will linger and maybe even get worse. I know guys who've suffered from the same pull all year long.
