For people who keep voting Vezina, he is probably very overrated. He was not considered the best of his time, let alone all-time. People think he must be good because his name is on the trophy, but this is a falacy. He got the name on the trophy due to his premature death, much like Masterdon, not because he was considered the best goalie. If you're going to chose a goalie from Vezina's time, Benedict was far better. When Vezina was putting up a GAA of 4 or so, Benedict was managing 2.50's at the same time.
