If the season ended today we would have:

1. NY Red Bulls (Bye)
2. DC United (Bye)

3. Columbus Crew vs 6. New England Revolution

4. Toronto FC vs 5. Montreal Impact

That means RBNY can play one of New England, Montreal, and Toronto in the first round after the knockout games. I want to stay the hell away from Toronto. If Bradley and Altidore are on top of their game... then add Giovinco who is TFC's Italian Jesus, they are so dangerous.

Why do I have that feeling that the the Red Bull's journey to MLS Cup goes through New England and DC....

New England and DC would be a blessing. The other 3 teams have the speed to unravel RB. More interesting note, the 3 lowest salaries in MLS are RB, Dallas and DC who happen to be the top 3 in the standings as well

So the final standings are

1. Red Bulls
2. Columbus
3. Montreal
4. New England
5. DC
6. Toronto

I think the best thing that could happen for us is that Montreal wins. It would give us a DC/NE matchup and would take Giovinco out of the equation. He scares me more than Drogba.

So proud of this team. Keep adding to that trophy case :)

Before the season, I would have taken just making the playoffs. To be the best team in the league throughout the season, that is quite the achievement.

I'm hoping that Montreal wins mid week, and DC does too. My buddy and I plan on making the trip to wherever next Sunday's away leg will be. It's going to be a blast!

I am hoping for DC and New England as well since we will be able to go on the away trip.

I am very afraid of Toronto because of Giovinco.

Giovinco and Drogba are easily the two biggest game breakers in the East, so yea I agree that I want to avoid them if possible. DC and then Cbus would be ideal. Regardless, I see our midfield trio controlling every game, home or away, and now with Miazga back we should be holding teams to 1 goal or less.

Moments of the game:

1) Dax's header
2) Ref not sending off Kumar
3) Security tackling pitch invader

Zubar was the guy deserving of the red. If called the series is over. Red Bulls would have gotten a draw at best with no away goal and wouldn't have a second CB for game 2.

I meant Zubar. He didnt really connect with his initial tackle but crushed him on the follow through. Credit to the DC player for not rolling around like he was shot. Probably a big reason for the yellow only.

DC United should be ashamed of themselves with RFK Stadium. We knew it was a dump but it is a serious problem. They put us in the 400/500 levels and any time we moved as a group, the stadium shook, the roof bent up and down, concrete floor pieces were breaking off, lead paint chips were flying everywhere, and more.

My fiance used the bathroom and when someone flushed a toilet, four other toilets overflowed. The mens bathroom was gross and some doors were sealed shut.

Here are a few pics I took before my phone died.
