In case anyone's wondering more about what Gonchar's role would be, here's the page for goalie development coach Mike Buckley which outlines his duties within the organization. I would imagine Gonchar's will be quite similar.

As an aside, the Pens appear to be really set as far as coaching goaltenders goes between Bales at the NHL level and Buckley at the developmental level.
