May I ask, what exactly has Rask done to be ranked that high? I would have a VERY hard time ranking him over Harding or Price, and 2 or 3 other guys would be debatable.

Just wondering how Irving is infront of Bernier when Bernier won goalie of the year led his team to the cup and has been 1st star in all three memorial cup games though losing two of the games. My ranking:

Carey Price
Josh Harding
Jonathan Bernier
Tuukka Rask
Al Montoya
Leland Irving
Justin Pogge
Cory Schneider

That is what Bernier has done.

Yes, and Al Montoya has won a gold medal and was named to the AHL All-Star team as a rookie (and I believe this year as well).

He's played great in the AHL against men. Not against boys like Bernier is doing.

The CHL goalies should not be above much more proven guys like Harding and Montoya, both of whom are far advanced and superior to guys like Leland and Bernier so far.

I need to play to homer roll i guess :)

Irving should be top 3 on that list based on a 3 year career with a GAA of 1.82

And any list without Matt Keetley is cr@p :amazed:

How would you guys say Jimmy Howard stacks up to these guys? Top end, middle, bottom?

The homer HAB fan will take a crack at this!!;) Here goes (while adding Howard, Frazee, etc...;)).

1. Carey Price/Tuukka Rask (imo, both are potential franchise goalies)
2. Tuukka Rask/Carey Price
3. Josh Harding
(future #1 goalie of Minnesota after solid #1 goalie Fernandez)
4. Al Montoya
5. Jonathan Bernier
6. Leland Irving
7. Jeff Frazee
8. Pavelec
9. Jimmy Howard
10. Varlamov
11. Justin Pogge
12. Cory Schneider

Harding and Price are the 2 best for my money...

Price has shown it in the WHL, and AHL.

Harding has shown it at every level including the NHL where he's been downright scary when he's got his chances. Backstrom will not hold him off too long.

not much. other then being one of the best goalies in the finnish league two years in a row (against men) at age 18 and 19.

IMO that's a huge accomplishment:handclap:
