The Kings have one PP goal this season with a two-man advantage. They haven’t had much anyway since their go-to strategy is usually to stand idle and pass along a perimeter.

Everyone knows they’ll rely on a point shot and hope and pray that it hits the net and doesn’t get blocked or deflected out of play (which is what usually happens). It’s almost as if they’re following a script and we’re stuck watching the same reruns.

Nope, pretty sure they are called NHL teams
Yes NHL teams that are also rans miss out on those kinds of opportunities.

What does a Stanley Cup Championship team do when they go on the power play for 5 minutes in a potential cup clinching game? They step on the other teams throat.

Who was the last team to win scoring zero goals?

Kings. Oct 16, 2014. The puck entered the goal once, the entire game, including the shootout, from yours truly Jeff Carter (and Toffoli did not score). I don't think Quick could have had more of a shutout than that game. I remember being at Staples, it was a pretty decent 0-0 affair :)
