He said he caught a rut in the ice and that the hit didnt really contribute to the injury.

It's sad for him because he has a good chance of making the team, but hopefully it's a d-men the deepest position for team Canada.

Imagine if a guy like Fleury get injured, or a guys like Carter Stewart Crosby ouch...
