I'd think those two are nowhere near German national team level yet.
I think Bokk might have an outside chance to get a look during training camp or maybe some exhibition game, although it's probably at least a year too soon for him. But even if they take a close look at him it's highly unlikely he would make the team.

Gawanke has absolutely no chance at this point, imho.

I'll admit that I haven't watched any games of Wolfsburg this season, but I am not sure I like Krupp on the roster over Abeltshauer, Akdag and Krueger.

Gogulla quit his international career after last season, but I doubt he would have been nominated either way as he's been just a 3rd liner in Köln recently.

I'm biased here, but I don't know how Strahlmeier is not on the team. Endras this year, in my opinion, has no business being there. Ok, he is a proven player for Team Germany in the past, but this year he is not one of the three best goalies in Germany. Also Niederberger is debatable in my opinion. We'll see how this team performs, without the NHL'ers this is quite an opern tournament I think

He was switched to defense at the start of this season, and has been pretty solid throughout.
Guess so, spot on the Olympic team over many d men that have played the position for years. Maybe the position flexibility played into it or is he really in Germany's top 8 D?
