Bob Gainey is shaking his head right now. Streit never has a laser like that for the Habs

Can't see the game so i dont know how Streit is playing, but Habs fans know he has a good shot from the point, most times though it seems to hit the nearest member of the other team or go wide. On the odd occassion, it gets saved or deflected in front and he gets an assist. Be interesting to see if he is given another chance after the break in Montreal if he has a good tournament.

The teams to beat in this tournament:
Russia...well Slovakia already beat them
Finland...always underrated and should be in the gold medal game to lose to Russia
Sweden...always strong, until someone tells them they could go home next game...then they like the idea of returning to the Swedish chicks

No Canada, huh?

The Czechs could miss out on the medal round if they lose this game. Wow.

Not so much, unless they lose to Italy they'll be in.

Seriously, if Aebischer plays like he did today in the NHL playoffs, Colorado have a great shot at the cup.

Well, it wasn't the goalie we have problem with..it is the D. Our D sucks.

Well, he sure will have confidence, and now just ended and Streit has the biggest goal in Swiss history.

Great game from the Swiss. They played for the win and got it. In the last few minutes they were really tired but they still managed to stress the Czechs from setting up plays and Aebi took care of business when it mattered. Upset #2 of the tournament so far.
