Vancouver
Ehlers: (nhl) 67 goals 88 assists 155 points
Virtanen: (nhl) 15 goals 16 assists 31 points
My favorite narrative is “VirtanEn is BuIlt for THe Playoffs”

In the CHL playoffs

Ehlers - 59 points in 30 games
Virtanen - 18 points in 35 game s

1 point in 10’games in Utica

Responding to the title of this thread...

It actually looks like the last wild card team will need to get at least 95 points to make it. That's 36 points away from 59. Accounting for the 6 points the Canucks have gained from late February, they would have had to win out their last 21 games in order to have a chance at making the playoffs. That would have been every game since February 25th. For a little more perspective, they would have had to maintain a 0.700 winning rate after January 14th to get 95 points...
To overstate the obvious, they've been out of the playoffs for a while.

It's a good thing you were here to clear that up, it was so confusing for that poor poster. You would think he would know this without having to dip into the expertise you provide.

Because beefaroni.....Kesler & Sutter is more relevant to a Ducks/Canucks GDT than Jensen & Rakell.

I hear ya jabrone. The dealings with the Ducks old and new is really cool

Gillis

- We draft Jensen 29th, Ducks draft Rakell 30th

-,we trade our 3rd to Anaheim for Lapierre. Ducks draft Frederic Andersen with that 3rd we gave for Maxime Lugano, then the Ducks trade Andersen to the Leafs for their 2016 1st (Sam Steel) and the Leafs 2017 2nd (Maxime Comtios)

- Gillis gives Kesler a NTC. Torts rips the A off Keslers jersey for his off ice/dressing room attitude/Shenanigans. Rogers Arena fires Gillis.

Benning

Kesler names one team he'd accept a trade to - Anaheim

Kesler and a 3rd (Sideroff) to Anaheim for Bonino (signs as UFA with Nashville for 4 years, $4 million per after 2 years with Pittsburgh), Sbisa (Vegas 2nd pairing stud), a 1st (tweener McCann traded for Net Front presence - Guds) and a 3rd (traded to Rangers for Dorsett) Rangers draft Iverson

Bieksa traded to Ducks for a 2nd. (2nd is then traded in package to Pittsburgh along with Clendenning and Bonino) for Sutter and Pitts 3rd Lockwood. Pitts draft Gustavsson with the 2nd we gave them. Bonino, Clendenning and Gustavsson are no longer with the Penguin organization. Sutter and Lockwood are still property of your Vancouver Canucks

Interesting history with the Ducks. Interesting

Exactly. We lost to Calgary because they were much noiser.

Big hits = more crowd noise.

Crowd noise = wins

Jake = hits = crowd noise

Ehlers = goals

Crowd noise > goals when it comes to winning games.

Jake > Ehlers
