Florida's top line looks dangerous but the rest of their forward unit is not so impressive. I guess that's what happens when you give up Reilly Smith and Jonathan Marchessault for nothing.

Over under 2 goals for Trochek tonight? I swear that guy eats us alive.

Regardless why the hell is Thorburn playing... again. I guess we're just going to have to accept it... again.

Thank you for making these Blanick!

Trocheck does seem to have our number, terrific player and one of my favorites. I still remember him scoring in the final seconds to beat us 2-1. Hopefully that doesn't happen again tonight.

I hate this new Panthers logo. The old one sucked too, but the new one is truly a soulless sterile corporate product that feels like a car company logo.

Go Blues! 4th game in 6 nights on the road is a pretty tough draw. Hope we can pull this one out.

Barby getting his chance to shine with 17-10.

I'm totally fine with this, but I'd like to see him in a position to get more touches. If he clicks with Schwartz and Schenn, awesome, but I have a feeling we'll see those guys continue to control the puck and Barbashev won't get to prove as much. It's most likely to happen if that line generates shots from the point - because Barbashev can go to the net, where he is good at deflections and corralling pucks - but I think we're more likely to see Barbashev establish himself in the lineup if he gets to center some players who shoot.

Apparently the coaches (who I will point out do have eyes) have watched the last 3 games and determined that Thorburn should continue being in the lineup. I am skeptical.

What will really piss me off is if someone like Sundqvist, Jaskin or Barbashev come out of the lineup instead of Thorburn when Steen returns in a few games.
IMO when Steen and Berglund come back our 4th line should be Brodziak + whichever 2 of Sundqvist, Paajarvi, Upshall, or Jaskin are currently playing best. I don't know if we can justify using a roster spot on Thorburn at the expense of any of those 4

Going off the deep end and predicting a Barbashev goal tonight in a 4-2 win.

Not sure why, but I really want to see Jaskin, Barbashev and TT play as much as possible
