Crazy how we’re verging on two 10 game losing streaks half way through the season and are still battling for last place
A pretty-decent 9-7-2 in between went a long way. I feel like you'd expect a team that lost their first ten games, and then had another nine-game losing streak to go something like 6-10-2 or worse in between.

Few players I loathe more than Perron. Can't wait for that loser to retire.

Ever since Jumbo rearranged his face it's like he exists to be a thorn in the Sharks' side, even when the sharks aren't involved (exhibit A: )

Burroughs is the Kunin of defence
Hardly… Burroughs has been scratched.

Kunin gets promoted. Have a look at Kunin’s stat line tonight:

15.4% expected goals (5v5)
1 shot attempt (blocked)
0 hits
19.6% Fenwick (5v5)
Somehow credited with zero giveaways when he constantly turns the puck over in the OZ.
Can’t close a passing lane on the PK despite standing in the middle of it.

I really have to ask - what is the point of him playing? Studnika shouldn’t be either but they’ve got it in their head he is needed to play center.

Granlund Brent Burns'd that one
Granlund has been doing that a lot from the point on the PP.

Lots of good moments but also lots of back breaker moments. This team unfortunately can not coast even for a little bit if they want to win a game. Definitely had plenty of good rush opportunities where they just gave up unforced turnovers. And too loose covering the Detroit zone entries during the PK

I figure that Grier is keeping some of the lazy players on the team so that they can build some value and get traded. But in the long run, it's probably a better idea to just cut them as an example to others.
